APUSH Resources
In APUSH, you will need to work very hard to do well. This is not a course where you can put in half effort and expect to get a 100, or even an A. Below are some resources that may help you prepare for my test/quizzes throughout the year, as well as the AP Exam in May. Again, I highly recommend that you pick up one of the various AP prep books to review as we cover each unit. There are many options out there; Kaplan, Barrons, Princeton Review, Cliffs AP, etc. None will give you exactly what to expect on the test, but they'll give you an idea.
And of course you can always refer to the College Board site located here.

College Board Course Description - This page gives a good description of the course as well as the exam.
Gilder Lehrman Institute APUSH page - This is a great resource for information about the history that we cover. They create the review videos that are posted at the top of each Period page and have a number of documents that you may want to use to prepare for the exam.
Be careful with the sites below. They appear to be put up by another student, so they may not be 100% reliable.

HistoryTeacher.net - A very good, comprehensive site that has excellent information about how to do well in the class. I've used it in the past for some of my information.

APexamreview.com - Unfortunately this site has closed down, but to the right, you'll find screen shots of almost all of the items. I somehow missed 228-233. Whoops.
The thematic review to the right was created by another teacher in the district and is password protected. Think about my favorite president, or ask another student what my password is. |
