Thursday: 1) Thinkers Notes, 2) Find the Thinkers DUE MONDAY (Use the Declaration of Independence FOUND HERE) Friday: QUIZ Ch. 2, Finish Which Came First, work on Find the Thinkers |
Find the Thinkers Directions:
- Make a 3 column chart: First column = Thinker, Second column = Idea, Third column = Excerpt - Using the Declaration of Independence, you need to find 3 examples from each of the four thinkers from our notes. Some, like Locke, will be easy, others will be a bit more difficult, but if you think about it, you should be able to make a connection. Maybe what the King did links to an idea. - Yes, you may use an excerpt for more than one idea, but this will be rare; NO, you can't use Natural Rights for more than one thinker with the exact same excerpt. No double dipping. |
