Week of March 30
Monday - Begin Presidents and Congress project (check Gmail/shared documents for instructions) Homework: Begin Ch. 15, you'll need to know about the bureaucracy for Thursday's activity Tuesday - President vs Congress project Wednesday - Share President vs Congress project with me TODAY Thursday - Problems with the Bureaucracy - Open the documents to the right, using the usual password. On a sheet of paper, you need to recreate the chart on page 4. As you read, on the left side of the chart, you need to come up with 5 categories that the government waste you are reading about falls into. Once you have put the categories, you'll need to describe what is meant by that type, or "pathology". Ex: Red tape - blahblahblah... On the right side of the chart, you'll list the excerpt # and in a sentence explain why it falls in that category. Ex: Excerpt #1 falls under red tape because yaddayaddayadda... You need to have this done for Monday. Friday - Good Friday |
