Monday - Civil War in 4 Minutes, Civil War study guide Tuesday - Mobilizing for War: Using the PDF to the right (or the bottom, if on the mobile version), examine the chart and answer the questions. (Password is my favorite president) Wednesday - Civil War map: Complete the following on your blank map: 1) using Ch. 20, page 437, pattern the Union, Confederate and border states 2) mark the Mississippi River in blue 3) using Ch. 21 page 455, mark the following locations MARK THE FIRST TWO WITH THE APPROPRIATE BLUE OR RED STAR SINCE THEY ARE THE CAPITALS a) Washington D.C., b) Richmond, VA, c) Ft. Sumter, SC, d) Bull Run (Manasses), VA, e) Antietam (Sharpsburg), MD, f) Vicksburg, MS, g) Gettysburg, PA, h) Atlanta, GA, i) Sherman's March (draw the length of the march with an arrow), j) Appomattox, VA 4) On the back of the map, you need to list each of the locations and give a brief explanation of their significance. Thursday - Images of the Civil War: Answer the questions in the PDF to the right (password is my favorite president). Use the website HERE to find most of the images. Civil War Haiku - When you have answered the questions, complete the wrap up Google Form located HERE Friday - Civil War quiz, "Did Lincoln Really Free the Slaves?" |
